Product Description

The RBM Kilma Super-Strong is a pre-formed foil sheet in printed shockproof polystyrene coupled with an insulating layer (EPS). The panel consists of a 0.6mm thin foil of black printed shockproof polystyrene with high resistance to pressure and treading, featuring a shaped grid of points for fixing the pipe with square base geometry, and an insulating layer of self-extinguishing smooth EPS closed cell expanded sintered polystyrene.

The panel is designed as an in-screed solution to thermally insulate the system from the rest of the structure, reducing commissioning time and energizing only the radiant screed rather than the inertial mass of the building. The product minimizes contact of pipes with insulating panels, allowing for greater system yield. The panel is used in floor radiant heating systems where the pipe is completely embedded in concrete screeds.
