Complete Hydronic Heating System

Full package solution for underfloor heating and radiator systems including manifolds, mixing units, and controls.

System Overview

A complete hydronic heating system provides efficient, comfortable heating for residential and commercial buildings. This comprehensive RBM solution integrates pipes and positioning boards for underfloor heating, manifolds for zone distribution, mixing units for temperature control, magnetic filtration for system protection, air vents for air removal, hydraulic separators for circuit decoupling, and thermostatic radiator valves for precise room-by-room temperature control. Together, these components create a reliable, energy-efficient heating system that delivers consistent comfort while protecting equipment and extending system lifespan.

Key Benefits

  • Energy-efficient zone-based heating control
  • Even heat distribution throughout the building
  • Reduced energy consumption compared to traditional systems
  • Long-lasting, reliable components
  • Easy installation and maintenance
  • Compatible with various heat sources (boilers, heat pumps)

How It Works

Understanding the complete heating cycle from generation to distribution

1

Heat Generation & Filtration

A boiler or heat pump generates hot water, which passes through magnetic filters that capture ferrous particles and debris, protecting pumps, heat exchangers, and other critical components from wear and damage.

2

Hydraulic Separation & Air Removal

Hydraulic separators decouple primary and secondary circuits, improving efficiency and reducing pump energy consumption. Automatic air vents continuously remove air bubbles and dissolved gases, preventing air locks and maintaining optimal system performance.

3

Temperature Mixing & Distribution

Mixing units blend hot supply water with cooler return water to achieve optimal temperatures for underfloor heating systems. Manifolds then distribute the conditioned water to multiple zones, allowing independent temperature control for different areas.

4

Heat Emission & Radiator Control

Heated water flows through specialized pipes (Pe-Xc, Pe-Xa, Pe-RT, or HPP) embedded in positioning boards for underfloor heating, or through radiators controlled by thermostatic radiator valves. These valves automatically adjust flow based on room temperature, providing precise room-by-room control and maximizing energy efficiency.

5

Return & Recirculation

Cooled water returns through the system, passing through filters again to remove any new contaminants. The water is then reheated and recirculated, maintaining a continuous, clean, and efficient heating cycle.

System Components

Each component plays a crucial role in the system's performance

Manifolds & Accessories

Manifolds are the central distribution points that divide the heating circuit into multiple zones. They allow for independent control of different areas, enabling energy-efficient zone-based heating. RBM manifolds feature high-quality materials and precise flow control.

Mixing & Distribution Units

Mixing units blend hot supply water with cooler return water to achieve the optimal temperature for underfloor heating systems. They protect the system from overheating and ensure consistent, comfortable temperatures throughout the building.

Automatic Air Vents

Automatic air vents remove air bubbles and dissolved gases from the heating system, preventing air locks, reducing noise, and improving system efficiency. They automatically release trapped air to maintain optimal system performance.

Hydraulic Separators

Hydraulic separators decouple the primary and secondary circuits, improving system efficiency and reducing pump energy consumption. They also help remove air and dirt from the system, protecting components from damage.

Radiator Valves & Accessories

Radiator valves provide precise control over individual radiators, allowing for zone-based temperature management and energy efficiency. Thermostatic radiator valves automatically adjust flow based on room temperature.
